Who we are

From the baseball diamond to the business world, Jason Ford has always believed in the power of mindset and perseverance. After earning a baseball scholarship to North Idaho College as a first baseman and designated hitter, Jason was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 1993. He chose instead to continue his education and play for the University of Arizona during the 1995–96 season, before being redrafted by the Colorado Rockies.

After hanging up his cleats, Jason transitioned into a career at Charles Schwab, where he became a trading consultant and public speaker, helping clients understand the markets and develop smart trading strategies. His passion for motivating others grew into a new calling: inspiring individuals and organizations through speaking engagements focused on confidence, resilience, and growth.

Today, through Mind Over Batter, Jason combines his love of the game with his belief in the power of a positive mindset and coaching players to take the lessons they learn on the field and apply them to life.
